The car boot season has begun, and I’m back out there, hunting around bargains and additions to my Sunday Morning Sales.
This week saw me head out to the Mansfield carboot sale on Saturday – a rather large carboot sale in a huge field right next to the M1 – and Dore in Sheffield on Sunday.
Mansfield was fairly good but more on the bargain hunt side of things rather than photographically. Dore on the other hand… well in the end it became a bit of a wild goose chase as we were chasing a post code around moments after it was posted on an online forum, only to find it wasn’t where we thought it was.
I’m aiming to finish the series off this year, and will hopefully be previewing it at a local Photo Sheffield meet at some point in the near future in order to get some feedback on the direction I’m taking it.
But one thing that is certain, is that with the purchase of our house, the items we’re acquiring from the sales are somewhat different to the previous season.
The images below are a few the recent scans from last years haul, which will be making their way into the main set.
